We have a load balanced cluster of Linux based apache web servers. This allows us to add or remove a web server with minimal interruption to users. Our database is maintained on a separate service within amazon, and caching minimises load strain on the servers as demand increases. This configuration allow us to add additional computers during times of high demand. Additional benefits include higher security and lower impact of denial of service attacks.

Data Backup and Recovery

We store backups of all customer data as per our guidelines. Recovery is possible when necessary, there are costs for this, and considerations of how much data you need, what past date & time you wish to recover the data to and how you want access to the data. Recovery of data can be done it three ways: Individual data fields and their values - recovered for manual re-entry; You tell us the date & time of data and the field page and label (even better get the fieldId found in the HTML) we will email you the content.

Setup an Email Observer Account

To keep track of all emails sent from CourseSales.com it is recommended that you have another email account that is BCC’ed on all communication. Set up an account with your email provider, eg. gmail Add a user ‘observer’ that includes that email address Create an ‘observer’ role (in Options) Edit and then link that user to the ‘observer’ role Link all course masters to the observer role
