How to use Snippet, Extension and Promotion Content

Snippet content Snippet is a content type that provides content that can be incorporated into emails and PDFs. It enables common messages to be concentrated into one content record to be used in multiple places. Usually this is content that is not dependent on a particular course category, location nor provider. This is content that is whole business related, needs to be included in multiple emails/PDFs but if hard-coded into these documents would require much effort to change should it be updated.

Show or Hide Terms and other Content

It is not possible to include javascript code directly within content created by CourseSales.com however it is possible to specify styles and then add code to external files that are used to provide additional functionality. Filtering of Content

When creating content (found under the publish tab) you might find the some characters, namely backticks " ` " and slashes " \ " are removed from the content you enter. The following explains why and how this works. Setup Terms and Content to vary by Price Type

Varying Terms Create a new field (name=Content Terms Id) of the type ‘text’ and create the field CourseSales.com Internal Type ‘Content Terms Id’, you will also require a Content Terms field (if it does not already exist) do NOT add the Internal Type ‘Content Terms Id’ to this field.
